Day Fourty Nine...

Me and Christina had our day of fun today ha. We went to Animal Kingdom and got our picture with Stitch. Only really cuz i wanted to make my friend at home jealous. We watched its Tough to be a bug and the Lion King show which was cool but i hate it when people do acrobatics cuz it makes me nervous.
In the evening we went to an Epcot cast member movie night. We basically only went for the free food and when we turned up there were only two other people in the room! Loads more people ended up coming later and the whole night was just weird and funny. Americans are so over enthusiastic! We entered a competition to win prizes which i though they d just pull from a hat but turns out you had to go to the front and tell everyone your favourite magical moment on a microphone!! As soon as they sed this person works with hair i was crying inside! Haha. It was a trauma and i only won an XXL t shirt which ill probs throw away. Christina won a Segway tour of Epcot though which im sooo excited for :D We ate popcorn, tried the pizza which was horrible, watched tangled and then went home to bed.

Day Fourty Eight...

Tonight we went to Raglan Road which is the Irish pub in Downtown Disney. Its owned by Irish people, the bar was imported from Ireland and the chef has cooked for U2 and the Queen. Just a few facts i read off the back of the menu. They have irish dancer on a stage in there aswell and ive asked christina to teach me irish dancing so i can break it out when ever Bewitched comes on in the Boutique. I ordered risotto which was so nice and a side of chips cuz i miss nice fat english chips and have come to hate french fries!! After the meal Mariannes suggests (bad decision) that we should go i hop for pancakes. So we get over there, all order our pancakes, i had the blueberry ones, and after about four mouthfuls we're all delirious cuz we're so full and feel sick. It was so funy we all just went histerical for some reason, marianne looked like she was gunna cry and we tried to force as much of the pancakes down as possible. We ended up taking most of it away though, not that i ever wanna eat those things again.

Day Fourty Six...

I had the day off on my own today so i probs seem like abit of a loser from what i was doing but i dont care cuz i dont wanna waste my days off! I did pool morning to try and keep the none existent tan going. Then skyped my dear parents for a while before going to downtown to get my charicature done. Its really weird cuz hes chatting away to you but im trying to stay still and pose so he can see what my face looks like! Then I went and did loads of shopping and got my pay card declined a day after pay day! How embarassing! It was all on presents for my family though and at least ive got them all now. Then i went and watched Friends with Benefits and for some reason im now obsessed with Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis and want to be both of them! Haha. Love that film and was a pretty chilled day on my own..

Day Fourty Five...

Went to Magic Kingdom today cuz it was Kaylas last day :( sad. Ive hardly done anything in Mk for some reason so it was a good day for ticking things off the list. We had photos taken outside the castle which are so cute and had a picture where we are holding our hands out and then the photoshop Tinkerbell in like we re holding her. Mandy took the photopass card for that though so who knows whether ill ever see those photos. We went in Philarmagic, which is a 3D show and it was amazing. I feel like a little kid! We did Haunted mansion aswell which isnt amazing but i love little chilled rides. I always think rides are too short though. After queing for ages i just wanna sit down in the air con for an hour for a rest! Snow white was a really cute ride untill they stopped the ride probs to let a disabled person on which is fine. But they turned all the lights on. And when the ride started again they obviously forgot to turn them back off so that ruined the magic!
Most evenings consist of the usual, me and marianne have brought the entire magazine collection from Walgreens and just go through those. Im running out of new ones to read though!

Day Fourty One...

Tonight was such a trauma! Pre drinks at Christinas was fun which was so funny and actually seriously hard! Even though it looks easy! Im so unflexible! Then we went to House of Blues. I love it there and we were having such a good night until i got thrown out for holding an alcoholic drink!! I was so anoyed your not even allowed to touch alcohol. It drives me mad cuz im used to being able to drink at home so it feels like being 17 again! I was really stressed aswell that id get terminated for it! So that night ended up rubbish. Got some good photos though and i seem to be in most of them although im sure i was only there for half an hour.

Day Fourty...

Tonight we had film night and ordered a dominoes. I miss dominoes in England! I love it too much. They didnt have the garlic and herb base so i was devasted! Ha. The pizza was amazing though and we scoffed it down and watched tarzan. I love my Dominoes baby!

Day Thirty Nine...

Today was so funny. We went to Typhoon Lagoon for 'Massive Friday' (cuz we all had the same day off) The whole day was literally hilarious. My back was bright red from where id burnt it in the morning sun bathing with the tanning oil :/ we went on the rapids and all the big slides. We went on the lazy river where everyone in the river suddendly joined onto eachother and made a train. I was stuck rammed against the wall on the wrong side of the train but eventually joined on the end. Americans are very friendly with eachother. The best bit of the day was the wave pool. I lost my sunglasses in there which was a burden. The wave literally swooshed them off my face and i didnt even notice they were gone. It was so funny in there though. The first wave we were really near the back, basically not even in the pool but it was so powerful it knocked me and marianne off our feet. I was just rolling away and it was scratching my back but i couldnt get up! We had a photo pass photo taken in there aswell and got knocked over then and went flying into the woman. At one point we all fell over together and ended up in some kind of ball and were all being washed away together.
In the evening we went to Beaches and Cream to attempt the kitchen sink of ice cream. Some of it was disgusting like there was coffee ice cream and peanut butter sauce! I was determined to finish it and even strawed it at the end which was rank. We did it though. Go team!

Day Thirty Eight...

Today was such a productive day well done me! I got up early and booked my flight to California in September so thats done now, ready to go :) I went to Walgreens then me and Marianne encouraged eachother (bad idea) to go to the outlet mall. I was so good though i was proud of myself. I had tunnel vision. I only brought the jeans in the sale i wanted and a jumper. Then we went for our Epcot day which i was literally so excited about cuz we were going for lunch in England! Yay. I had vegetarian cottage pie and a side of english chips. It so amazing,nicer than actual english food! Oh waiter was from London so we chatted to him for abit aswell and it was really nice. Then we went and did a few rides so we ve done most of them in Epcot now including the Figment ride which is genuinly the weirdest thing ive ever been on. The whole time i was just in shock cuz i had no idea what was going on and it was like something a guy on drugs had created! In the evening we ended up randomly going to the Polynesian just because Christina was hungry. I got a pinapple ice cream and we sat on watched the fireworks on the beach for literally 2 seconds but at least now i can say i've done it.

Day Thirty Five...

I got sent home from work today for forgetting my work shoes so i wasnt 'in with the Disney Look' which was abit anoying cuz id got up and got ready but at least i was getting an extra day off :)I went to the outlets and did abit of papaya shopping. My favourite thing to do. Then i got the bus to Ripleys museum which is basically a museum of really weird and random things and facts. It was really cool though and i brought a penny in a tiny jar and its like omg how did the penny get in that jar lol. Then i came home and skyped my auntie before going to Applebees for dinner and having the spinach and artichoke dip which is a really popular starter here but the starters are literally the size of about two mains for some reason. So productive day! Glad i had it off instead of being at work.

Day Thirty Four..

I had to be at work for 6 am today! Burden! It reminds me of the horrible training days! Thankfully ive learnt to handle them better now. I just put the radio on now and have a dance around. After work finally finished me and julie went to Rainforest Cafe to attempt the Volcano. This desert made of brownies and ice cream and whipped cream and chocolate sauce. I was hungry and thought id end up eating it all and julie would have a mouthful. As it turns out its pretty massive and really sickly! We only managed two thirds between us and i thought i was gunna be sick if i had another mouthful.
I went home for a good nap and we went to House of Blues in the evening. I seriously love the music there! I dont think anyone else loves it as much as i do. It was a good night sipping my water! Met loads of random people in the smoking area and on the way back on the bus a french guy started chanting and got naked! Dunno what that was all about. Also i felt soooo hungry i thought i was gunna be sick! Ive never felt so hungry in my life :/

Day Thirty Three...

I LOVE EARL OF SANDWICH! That summarises today. I finally tried one and it was amazing. The Caprese! Best sandwich ever!!!!

Day Thirty Two...

Today was abit of a fail aswell. We attempted to go to Blizzaed Beach. I was so in the mood for a water park! But literally half an hour after we paid to get in (cuz we dont get in the water parks for free just 50% off after 2) they closed all the attractions and we wernt allowed in any water cuz there was thunder and lightening warning. To be fair the lightening was really bad that day. I saw it hit hollywood studios from the top of Summit plummit which was so weird and scary. So we had to wait for 3 hours!!! until it opened again. It ended up closing again an hour later cuz of the weather again but we got quite abit done before then.
In the evening we ate at Prime Time a fifties diner in Hollywood Studios. Its so cute and all laid out like a fifties house. The waiter is called Cousin Scott and when uve ordered he says he ll just go tell mum your order. You have to eat all your vegetables or you dont get dessert. But my whole meal was vegetables! And i really wanted a brownie so i actually asked the guy if i could leave my veg haha. The brownie was amazing!
After that we all went to watch Fantasmic. Now ive seen it once i watched it really closely and was comparing it and didnt think it was as good as the first time. I think we got a really good first showing.

Day Thirty One...

Went to Property Control this morning which is basically a place where cast members can get 75% discount on disney merchandise because its faulty but with some of the stuff you cant even tell what the fault is. Its so amazing i loved it. I brought so much stuff including a Billabong handbag which was random. I got stressed at the cas register though cuz first they run everything up at its original prices and it came to over 100. I was like oh my god ive spent more than i thought! But it ended up being only $30! Then we went to magic kingdom for abit which was fun. Went on Peter Pan which is so cute, its a small world and the tea cups. Also the stitch ride which is the worst thing ive ever been on. You just walk around for ages then sit in this room while stitch makes a few noises in the dark and thats it! Everyone looked disappointed. We went on Space Mountain aswell which is so good and actually quite scary cuz its in the dark and rocks around so much. Got some hilarious pictures on the camera aswell.
Went to Wendys for dinner and got a sour cream and chive jacket potato. Yum :D

Day Twenty Seven...

Tonight was a massive fail. We all went round for Christinas for drinks and attempted a house of blues night out but missed the bus. Then waited 45 minutes!!! for a taxi that never arrived before deciding to give and walk back to the appartment and go to bed! Epic Fail!

Day Twenty Six...

Today me and beth had our day of fun at Hollywood studios. Ive done loads of things there already so it was mainly a day of shows. We saw the car stunt show, which just makes me stressed cuz i always think somethings gunna go wrong. We did the backlot tour as well which i hadnt done already. Beauty and the beast was a really fun show and i had my frozen lemonade! :) which i will miss when im back in England. My fav show though was the little mermaid cuz i love that film and it had some really cool effects in it like glow in the dark fish and a massive ursela. It rained alot on you though which was kind of anoying cuz i was cold! We also went to see the green army man from toy story who was my friend Tag inside. That was fun cuz he just walked straight past the que and came over to us and took photos with us :)

Day Twenty Five...

Yay!! Harry Potter film night! The final film was out in america so we all went to watch that which was soooo good. It was really horrible and violent in some bits though. Its def not a childrens film anymore! I want to see it again though. I love Harry Potter!!

Day Twenty Four...

In the evening i went out in Downtown Orlando with some people from work. It was a good night but i much prefer going out in England and i miss my friends there! We went to a club called Vain but its so anoying going out here cuz if your over 21 you get in everywhere free but if your under you pay around 10 dollars. It was cool going out with some american people though and me and christina just sat taking a million hilarious but ugly photos at the bus stop at the end of the night.

Day Twenty Four...

Today we went to Sea World. It was such a hot day. I think one of the hottest so far. I could barely walk from each attraction to the next. We went on Manta first which is like Air in England where they lift you up so your facing the ground. It was so scary. I cant decide whether i liked it or not cuz of the way you were sat you were so close to everything we past so i had to close my eyes. Then we went to Journey to Atlantis and the que was soooo long and outside! So it was boiling and horrible. That was a nice chill ride though with a lil rollercoaster at the end. I love boat rides. We went to look around some of the animals before going to Shamu. It was such a cool show but there was a lot less tricks in it than i remember, mostly just splashing the audience. Afterwards we went on Kracken which was amazing. I love that ride! I remember going on it 7 times in a row when we came we i was 10. For dinner we went to a really cool restaurant where the whole wall is an aquarium which big sharks in it so you see then swimming past as you eat. I had an old fave of mine and annas. Brushetta! It was so good. Our final trip was to the seal show which was really cute and funny. They had a mime at the front at the start who just took the mick out of the guests as they sat down. Also at the end i thought a sea lion was a really obese seal lol.

Day Twenty Three...

After work i went for food with a couple of the work girls. I felt so overly dressed! I thought i was under dressed cuz i was just wearing a beach dress but they were wearing tackies and baggy tops. I think they were judging my outfit ha. We went to a place called Kraze which was really nice and i wouldn't have found by myself cuz megan drove us there. It was like eating with the anorexics though cuz they wanted to share everything! At first we shared a small bowl of edamame beans cuz they said they were delicious. They were nice but they were beans! Then i wanted a pizza but they ignored me and got a sharing platter of pitta bread and houmus! To be fair it was so nice but i was hungry! Then for dessert we shared a brownie with ice cream and melted marshmellow on top. Yum! Ive become obsessed with brownie since being here.

Day Twenty Two...

Harry Potter World! Yay!! We had to get up early which i hate doing on my days off but its worth it for Harry. We went on this really cute old fashioned bus to get to universal which played old 50's songs. When we got dropped off we had to walk for what felt like 10 hours!!! It was definatly the hottest day so far. We went on the Hulk ride straight away and i was just thinking wow this is such a good way to spend the summer haha. We spent the morning in Marvel which i love! Went on the Spiderman ride which is a simulation and they're amazing here. So advanced. Usually i find simulations boring at home. We went on Popeyes rapids and got literally so soaked that me and marianne went and brough matching animal print dresses, so we were looking a treat.
We watched Sinbad's stunt show and in the afternoon went to Harry Potter World! Its so cool, it looks exactly like the movie! I love it. The Forbidden Journey ride is literally the best ride ive ever been on. Its half simulation and half real ride. Its so scary, all the creatures come right up to your face! I had to close my eyes for the end which is embarrasiing. We went to Zonko's joke shop, i brought a pumpkin juice, a cauldren cake and we ate dinner at the three broomsticks and i had soup and a butterbear. Best day ever!

Day Twenty and Twenty One...

In the evening I had my first night out in America. A few people from work went to House of Blues and it was amazing. I'd heard loads of good and bad stuff about it but i loved the music and seriously want all of it on my ipod! Would love to come here with everyone from England and obvs would be better if i was over 21 seeing as they get in free and get certain cocktails for free! So unfair :(
The next evening a few of us from work went to Applebees for dinner. Which was nice. Im always so tired after work though i dont have the energy to do anything! The veggi pizza is yum tho and i had some of everyone's dessert (im that annoying person) and they re amazing!! I have a new obsession for brownie.

Day Nineteen...

So i set my alarm accidently for half 7 at night. So pooed myself when i woke up at 2 minutes past 9 and i was supposed to be at work at 9. Managed to get ready mega fast though and get to work for 9.45. Absolute miracle! Work went by really fast, with being late i only working 5 hours so i was free at 3 oclock :) I went for a burger at Pollo Campero which im getting really addicted to. Then after being told i have to try the ice cream shop in Downtown Disney i went to get one but made some massive rookie errors. Got two scoops instead of one and went way over the top with the extra toppings. I had cookies and cream ice cream with butterscotch, hot fudge and whipped cream. It was nice but i though i was gunna be sick by half way through. Ended up having to throw half away so was a massive ice cream let down!
When i got in Emma wanted to go for a meal. I felt like i was gunna be sick with fullness but i havnt managed to meet up with her much. We went to Applebees which was fun the froze lemonade is so yum!! Frozen lemonade is my new favourite drink and ill miss it when im back in England. By the time we left though i felt like i was about to die id eaten so much food!

Day Eighteen...

I had to get up at half 5 this morning!!! So i could go get my social security number. I actually got ready surprisingly fast though and was at the bus stop for 10 to six to make sure i got on the first bus so i could be back earlier. It only took about 10 minutes to process the application so i was back by half 8. After a nice nap i went out to sunbath again before work. I love starting late cuz i get time to lie in and sunbath :). On the way to work though we were caught on the edge of a tornado! And there was literally a huge downpour and i was walking to work in it! The roads were flooded and my shoes were coming off trying to wade through the water. When i got to work i was literally dripping. I waited for it to at least slow down but then i had to walk back to costuming to get another outfit!
I was pixie dusting at work till 10 but it was actually so fun. The best part of the job! All the little girls were so cute! I got so carried away i did it till quater past ten for free.

Day Sixteen and Seventeen...

Not much to say about these days apart from i was having a bad week! My laptop broke when i was trying to watch Rapunsel. So now i cant skype :( and i have to use my room mates to go on facebook. Also i really sunburnt my face so i looklike an idiot whos constantly embarrassed. And i was lying on one side when i was tanning my back so one cheek is really burnt and the other is fine!

Day Fifteen...

Today was sooooo boring. Ive enjoyed having four days off in a row but when no one else has a day off at the same time it gets really dull. So i just went back out to the pool for a while and generally hung round. I was having such a bad day aswell. I lost two keys!! One when i was carrying it too the pool. Then turned a deck chair round and suddenly it was gone and then other when i went to get a drink from the vending machine and suddenly the new one was gone! (but that was later found :/) so i had to pay for two new keys.
In the evening three of us went to Hollywood studios to watch the 4th July fireworks there. We went on tower of terror and rock'n'rollacoaster aswell which is my favourite ride ever cuz its amazing. The fireworks were so good. They had a band playing at the same time altough i didnt really like the music. And of course i wore my hat again. Afterwards we watched Fantasmic which was amazing. I dont remember ever seeing it before but it was brilliant. I love the shows more than watching the fireworks cuz im getting abit bored of fireworks now.

Day Fourteen...

So i went back to the Outlet mall again! I'm officially obsessed with Papaya. I love it! Then i wanted to get a giraffe tshirt from animal kingdom so i thought i might aswell just pop over on my day off. It is absoultly boiling in Animal Kingdom. You cant even breath. Apparently its because Animal Kingdom is built in a dip to keep all the heat in for the animals but i was just a walking ball of sweat! I got my tshirt then i thought i might aswell get a bit of food. So sat eating a pizza watching the parade on my own. Then i thought i might aswell have a go on dinosaur while im here. So i went on that on my own. Haha. It was quite a funny day. It wasnt too bad queing for a ride on your own until you get to the front and the woman asks how many and you have to say one.! That ride is so scary aswell, i had to close my eye for most of it cuz i didnt wanna be sat screaming on my own.
In the evening we went to see the 4th July fireworks at Magic Kingdom. I wore y special 4th of July hat which was fun but i was definatly the only person wearing anything with the american flag on. The fireworks were good but i thought they were definatly over rated and like the epcot ones more. Afterwards we went to the Wilderness Lodge resort and watched Princess Diaries on a big screen on the beach in deck chairs. It was like in a movie!!

Day Thirteen...

I got up early again to go to the pool and sunbathe but this time i mega burned. Its so annoying i never tan all i do is burn! In the afternoon i decided to go to the outlet mall and have a look around for something to do cuz everyone else was at work. At first i though it was rubbish but then i found Papaya!! THE best shop ever! I literally loved everything in there! I was embarrassed of myself carrying round a huge pile of clothes. I had to hold myself back but still spent a lot in there but i love the clothes! I can tell i gunna get addicted to that shop.
In the evening we went to Cicis an all you can eat pizza buffet which i was loving cuz pizza is one of my favourite foods. Id love to live in Italy. All the sprinklers in the street were turned on by the time we went home so that was fun! When we got in we watched a movie called Diary of a Wimpy Kid before heading to bed.

Day Twelve...

Days ten and eleven pretty much went the same as day nine but instead of doing something exciting like Cirque in the evening i usually fell asleep about 6 and sleep through till work time the next day.
Friday was my first of four days off and i was so excited. Cuz i was in the habit though i still woke up early so went down to the pool to sunbath. Its really nice there in the morning cuz theres no one around so no one to judge how pale i am. I was so so happy when i got the tiniest white marks ever so hopefully i will actually tan.
Me and Marianne went on an intense Walmart shop in the evening and we both got really carried away and spent nearly $100 and brought stupid things like plug in vanilla air fresheners. I got extremely excited though cuz i found the American quorn brand and brought 7 different ready meals!
We all went to Epcot in the evening, i love the world showcase and all the countries but all anyone ever says is epcots the worst part. I had a crepe with ice cream while we watched our friend who was dressed as Beast. Then everyone decided they wanted to dinner so we went to England to eat :) Most the buildings look ridiculous and nothing like England but the pub is really realistic and reminded me so much of home. We chatted to the english waiters and i had chips and mushy peas. I miss mushy peas!! I was so full though i thought i was gunna be sick! We went on Mission Space but the milder one which wasnt even scary at all. And then Maelstrom a very tame boat ride haha. So was a chilled evening. We watched the illuminations fireworks which are my favourite so far. All the countries light up and a massive gloge pays videos of the countries on it before breaking open and it has fire in the middle.

Day Nine...

So today the 6am starts began! I had to wake up at half 4 to get the bus at 5! It was so horrible. The first morning i wasn't used to it at all so I felt sick! I was nervous about meeting my trainer cuz a few of the girls had said she was horrible but she turned out to be really nice, just abit annoying sometimes. The job was boring. I was on stock training yawn! But the time passed pretty quickly. It was annoying at lunch it felt like everyone spoke spanish and they'd just speak it to eachother and I was just the idiot in the corner that can only speak english. I really want to learn another language now. I have attempted to learn french at least 10 times now though and that never went very far. Theres only one other english girl in the boutique, she's really nice. She invited me to come watch Cirque de Soliel with her and her friends that night, I was so tired I just wanted to nap! But I went to be sociable and our 50% discount was ending at the end of June (2 days). We all got dressed up and typical it chucked it down with rain so the photos were a treat. We ate dinner at House of Blues, which i didnt even realise we were in! I had a veggi burger with sweet potato chips. Yum.
Cirque de Soliel was literally amazing. There was so much to look at, it was mind blowing. The best part was three little chinease girls that looked about 10, doing the diablo. There were doing flips and tricks whilst doing it though and it was the most amazing show ive ever seen. Really glad i went in the end even though i was almost falling asleep

Day Seven...

Sunday was a long day!Not much interesting i can remember about it. Day an 8 and a half hour day which was all just really boring training. Abit of computor stuff and then we went into the Boutique. I didnt do anything we any major responsibility just pixie dusted for about two hours! Which i was really rubbish at cuz i was nervous, my wand didnt work so i had to shake it really vilontly, i felt like an idiot interupting peoples convosations to ask if they wanted to be pixie dusted and to top all that off i had to say "Bibbid Bobbidi Boo, may all your princess dreams and wishs come true"!
Then i got to join in the parade which was really cute, i didnt realise we had to do a photoshoot at the end tho with the princesses! And im really unphotogenic so im probly ruining ll those photos. Loads of people kept coming up to me aswell and asking me if i would be ina photo with their children which was quite nice actually cuz ill be in their family album about when they went to Disney. Probs still ruining the photo tho.

Day Six...

So i forgot the purse obvs. It was my first day of work and i was stressing out so much that they wouldn't let me do the training without my ID. When i got there tho it was all fine, panic over, i got half a point taken off me tho (your only allowed 6 max.) so great first impression! When we got there we had the most ridiculous training ever, i was trying not to laugh. Stuff like how to pick up a box and which side of your hand to use to push objects. We then had a massive presentation on the history of Disney, none of which im gunna remember cuz i kept zoning out so i hope a guest never asks me. We were supposed to go on a tour of Downtown Disney but it was raining again so we had a powerpoint presentation instead with was fine by me cuz im such a tired person i feel like im gunna fall asleep if i havnt had a good 9 hours haha. My shifts at Bibbidi Bobbidi soon change that though!
In the evening we went to Magic Kingdom to watch the night time parade and the fireworks. The parade was really pretty and was basically glow in the dark dancers and floats, it was really entertaining. Everyone gets so pushy trying to see though! Especially the mothers, they go crazy. There was a really cringy tribute to america float at the end aswell and all the Americans follwed after it. CRINGE! The fireworks were really good aswell. They used loads of amazing 3d lighting tricks on the castle, and put up pics of the guests who'd visited on the walls. There was a really cool part where Tinkerbell flies out from the castle on a wire across the sky.
Before we went home we went on Thunder Mountain and Marianne absolutly wet herslef at my rollercoaster face (which i thought was normal) so then we went on 3 more times and everyone had a turn sat next to me and they were all in tears at my face! On one ride Marianne sat in front and took photos the whole way round so there gunna be a treat!

Day Five...

So ive started work now and ive been doing quite a few hours so ive gotten behind with this blog. So im trying to catch up now but im already starting to forget what I did on certain days which is anoying. Fridays not hard to remember cuz i spent most the day lying around the flat. Everyone else had work and there was a massive thunderstorm (which turned out to be the first of many!) so spent most the day indoors. In the evening we all went round Beths and watched the Princess and the Frog. How Disney of us ha. I took my purse over, which has all my Disney ID in, to buy and drink and i remember thinking dont forget the purse!!.....

Day four...

Went to Hollywood studios today! I was so excited when i got there i started running around the park haha. We went on tower of terror and it broke down! So got to go to the front of the que for another go although i wasnt sure i wanted one.. The heat was sooooo intense i literally had my little portable fan on all day! I had to swap the batteries i was using it so much but i couldnt walk around without it. Took loads of photos alot of them with the characters. I was so excited to meet the characters, i ran over to winnie the pooh and gave him a hug and was casually standing with my arm round minnie for ages. Almost stood on a small child at one point so obviously need to CALM DOWN! We went on my favourite ride rock 'n' rollacoaster twice which was amazing! I was so prepared with pack lunch, spare sun cream, a hat i felt so proud ha. I had a grilled veggi sandwich and chips for dinner which was actually really nice. Absolutly nakard when i got back! So collapsed in bed.

Day three...

I was stressing today cuz i didnt know if they were going to accept my hair cuz its very yellow. Turns out they hardly even looked at it and probably would have accepted it if i hadnt even changed it! We had loads of boring presentations about safetly and the history of Disney and then were taken into the Magic Kingdom to observe something i cant remember cuz i wasnt listening. It was so nice seeing it for the first time since being here its amazing and now weve got our id's so we can get in all the parks for free. It so so so hot tho so i dont know how ill manage to be out in the heat for longer that 10 minutes! The guy next to me literally had sweat pouring off him! That nite i stayed in cuz i already had a headache from 2 minutes in the sun haha and just wanted to chill.

Day two...

Abit of paperwork in the morning and i found out id be working in the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! How cute! Where you make little girls into Disney princesses, and i get to wear a big pink dress cuz im supposed to be one of the fairy godmothers haha! Im glad cuz a stupid outfit is part of the disney experience! Spent the rest of the day in the pool before going home to dye my hair!! Decided the hairdressers was too expensive so got my flatmate Marianne to do it. Slight issue...it turned out bright yellow and orange when wet! Oh well at least its all one colour now and hopefully it will fade abit. We headed to Downtown Disney in the night so i got to check out where id be working. Its such a cute little place and in the middle of World of Disney which has such nice Disney jewellery and i know ill be spending all my wages! I got a cinnimun bagel yum!! and frozen lemonade before going to the cinema to watch Bridesmaids

Day one...

So im all settled in now, living with one english girl and two girls from Thai- Won. Theyre all really nice and one of the girls from Thai- Won gave us presents that were meant to bring people luck which was really sweet. We spent most the day today in this giant lecture thing filling out paperwork which wasnt fun. I found out though im going to be working in Downtown Disney which im excited about cuz its got loads of bars and entertainment around it and its the only Disney park i dont really remember going to. I also got told i needed to dye my hair which i was abit anoyed about cuz although my hair was two different shades it looked natural and the hairdressers was expensive. We went for an all you can eat buffet for dinner. The food was really nice but for me was mostly bread, potatoes, beans and the occasional spring roll.

On my way...

Up at 4 am!!! So tired but for some reason i think going to the airport with a pack lunch is a fun day out. I hate flying and the stupid flight attendant gave me the wrong meal so that put me in a bad mood! I wasnt impressed with the meals which is weird cuz i love plane food! changing flights at Boston was so stressful cuz i didnt realise how big the airport was so ended up running through with my giant hand luggage bag. When we landed in Orlando i could hardly move with my two bloody suitcases and wish i could of fitted my stuff in one! Made friends staright away which was really good and my room mate is really nice and also brough two suitcases so we obvsiously have alot in common! We were worried about wardrobe space tho! A group of us went for our first meal to a steak house! I had the awkward moment where i had to tell them i was veggi but they were fine and thought it was funny id come anyway. Ended up having mozarella sticks cuz apparently america hates vegetarians! so was basically an expensive mcdonalds.

Sounds like summer...

Theres loads of events on at Disney over the summer that i really wanna check out. The only thing i feel ive missed out on in England is festival season so i really wanted to find some concerts or festivals going on in Florida that would be memorable. And i found one in Epcot... Sounds like Summer, full of tribute bands.

Only 3 days left. Im so so excited. Cant wait to be in the hot weather and relax by the pool all day and get an amazing tan! Been looking through all the different sights to see and sadly im probably most excited about Harry Potter World :D and swimming with dolphns! Ive brought so many new clothes for this holiday now as well ive basically gone into debt. Cant wait to wear all those :)

Fashion...

Found this on tumbler and really love the way Disney is applied in the fashion industry. Especially lately it's been such a big craze. So definatly gunna be looking out for how the creative costumes can be translated into fashion..

Been looking at loads of Mickey and Minnie drawings and ive become obsessed! They're so cute, especially the old fashioned, really sketchy ones. Cant wait to get out there and make a few of my own in such an amazing visual environment
